 Inspection Scheduling Policy

The Central Keystone Council of Governments

Inspection Scheduling Policy:

 ·        ALL inspections require a minimum of 24 hours notice (48 hours preferred).

(We will schedule your inspection as soon as possible, while taking into account inspections already scheduled.)

 ·        A two (2) hour window  will only be given for :

o   Footers (please advise us of your actual pour time when scheduling).

o   Other concrete pours (advise us of actual pour time).

o   Electrical inspections (ONLY when the power company is scheduled to energize at a specific time).

o   When the inspector needs to enter an owner occupied portion of the project to perform the inspection (only if conducting the inspection when the contractor cannot be present).

·        ALL other inspections will be performed between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm, at a time that coordinates with all other scheduled inspections for that day.

·        It is easier to cancel a scheduled inspection than to schedule one on short notice –   if you think you will be ready, please call and get your job on the day’s schedule!    If you do need to cancel an inspection, please call our office as soon as possible.

·        Please do not ask staff or inspectors to make exceptions to this policy.
