The CK-COG is an organization of Municipalities pooling resources to more efficiently administer services for residents of these municipalities; thereby providing services that would otherwise not be economically practical.

The Central Keystone Council of Governments is currently accepting applications for the positions of: 

DIRECTOR

The Central Keystone Council of Governments (CKCOG), located in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Director.  This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a diverse organization with an experienced and dedicated staff.

The ideal candidate must be a team builder who is able to engage the member governments and show them that their active participation in the CKCOG has value.  The Director must be active in building public support for the CKCOG and increasing the CKCOG’s visibility in the community and various media outlets.

In addition, the selected candidate needs to be effective in coalition building with the legislature and other COGs as participation from these groups will be critical when developing and implementing new service models.  The candidate should have a broad range of experience that encompasses working on issues of interest to the regional agencies, counties and municipalities.  Candidates should possess experience in planning, program management and a proven leader and skilled manager.

Candidates must have a solid understanding of budget development, financing, program development, infrastructure, and providing support services that the member municipalities have requested.

A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, planning or a related field is high desirable.  Five years in a supervisory, managerial or advanced level professional position, preferably with a municipality county planning, public works or a local or regional agency (Additional or qualifying experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the education and experience)  The salary for the Director is dependent on qualifications.  CKCOG offers an attractive benefits package.

CODE ENFORCMENT TRAINEE
